As a client, Vanessa was an absolute dream. Come. True!

This girl showed up READY! She had multiple outfit options - jeans and a neutral top with a sweater to add on as a layer, and an adorable hat (props are key, my friends!). She was willing to try anything and everything, and we absolutely went to town. Her hat allowed so many creative poses that just can't be done without one. Her sweater layer option created even more variety that made her photos even more unique!

To top it off, Vanessa chose beautiful High Point Overlook for her session. Talk about variety! This spot gives you SO many choices, so combined with her outfits, she got a huge variety of photos. Whether we were capturing her against the stunning backdrop of Pikes Peak, or with the colorful hues of Garden of the Gods just to the north, she looked absolutely incredible. Vanessa had a special talent, too, for posing! She naturally fell into lovely poses with very little coaching - for all my ladies out there who love to do this, take note here - she was able to do this with subtle, gentle movements. This prevented her photos from being blurry with her frequent shifts in pose. :) Give the camera a moment before you change it up!

To top it off, Vanessa is just the sweetest young lady. She was so patient and willing to try new things, including climbing way up high onto the rocks for some truly amazing views, especially as we were closer to sunset at that time and the sun was peeking through the overcast sky and providing some beautiful light.
