I hope y’all aren’t tired of seeing wildflowers on my blog, because I will NEVER tire of them! Our state is nicknamed “Colorful Colorado”. In my opinion 6-7 months out of the year this state does NOT seem true; unless there is snow on the ground in the winter, the cold months render everything brown and dead-looking and spring takes SO long to get started here. The other half of the year, our state lives up to its name! At least in the rainy years! Rolling green meadows, lush fields of wildflowers in their seasons, followed by lovely fall colors and always, always incredible sunsets.

If I could convince every person ever to do a session among the wildflowers, I would! They are so worth it! This session with Chadanse and her wonderful family was such a delight! I know when I see her name on my schedule that I can count on a whole lot of laughter. This family is so full of love for one another and they truly enjoy being together and supporting one another. Capturing them all in a stunning family session among the wildflowers near Colorado Springs was truly a delight. The younger kids brought some special stuffed friends with the to the session, who kept an eye on them while they explored together with their big sister and parents and smelled the flowers. What a treasure to see kids enjoy their imaginations and nature!

Chadanse’s family is always so much fun with their easy-going, joyful personalities and the love and laughter they bring to every session. The moments they create together in between poses are ones they will delight in together many years down the road.
