Anna & Ryan share a sweet, tender love.
This is something I was able to learn in just the one hour I got to spend with them at Garden of the Gods one warm(ish) winter afternoon. Even though I have known Anna for a long time, many years have passed since we last saw one another.
I met Anna playing softball in high school. She stuck out to me like a sore thumb because she was one of the rare souls who was shorter than me. :) But she ran fast, played well, and had a lovely smile. She was easy to like and still is!
Anna and I also went to the same school for college. We even ended up at the same church! We remained connected through Facebook primarily. Even though most people come and go from our lives, social media and the internet have allowed us to stay connected in more ways than ever before, which I love. From afar, I got to watch many things happen in Anna's life - including when she met and married Ryan, and the births of their two daughters.
Having the opportunity to photograph these two and meet Ryan was such a blessing. Anna found herself a true gentleman, the perfect complement for her. He clearly cherishes her, and she adores him. They have carved out a beautiful life together!
My next goal is to photograph their entire family! I can imagine that Anna and Ryan's girls are as wonderful as they are. This family is a clear example of what life is like when you seek the Lord and keep Him at the center of your life.
