When clients come back year after year for photos, this fills my photographer heart with so much joy!

To be trusted again and again with peoples' precious memories is an honor I do not take lightly. Trevor, Olivia, and their adorable pups are among dozens of wonderful families in the Colorado Springs area that I've had the privilege of photographing each year since starting my business in 2021, and when I saw their name in my inbox I couldn't wait to get started planning this year's session! It is important to my clients to not have the same photos year after year, so Olivia and I worked together to find a location that would be beautiful at the time of her session and create the fall look she was going for!

Olivia chose Rock Ledge Ranch this year - such a gorgeous spot! The big white barn makes a great backdrop any time of the year. On the way from the parking area to the barn, there is a cute bridge and in October it was decked out in glorious fall-hued leaves and vines and bushes, so we stopped there for photos first before proceeding to the barn! It's important for Trevor and Olivia to include their sweet pups in their session, so we always start with them included! We did photos at a few different spots with the pups, then the rest of the session was spent with just Trevor and Olivia at the same few spots. Trevor and Olivia were thrilled that I brought some pumpkins to include in their photos for an especially fall-like feel on the farm, and we also used them with the pups in a wagon for some absolutely adorable results! For the most part, though, we let Trevor and Olivia be the main focus and the beautiful environment they chose speak for itself. This is always my goal in sessions which is why I encourage minimal, if any, props outside of special holiday minis. Trevor and Olivia's love for one another and their sweet pups is the number one reason their photos look so beautiful!
